Four stunning destinations in the Aosta Valley have recently been included in the “Why in Italy” website, created by the University of Turin. The website has been set up to create a new way of discovering Italy by focusing on areas that, possibly, aren’t on all the usual tourist “must do” lists when visiting the country. They have divided Italy into “riserve” (reserves) to help convey the intrinsic diversities and specialities of a region and the focus is on everything in that area from culture, to landscapes, art, industry and towns.

The “reserves” featured in the Aosta Valley are Riserva di AostaRiserva del CervinoRiserva del Gran Paradiso, Riserva del Monte Bianco and Riserva del Monte Rosa and the website provides some extremely interesting insights into these beautiful areas as well as great imagery, interactivity and some suggestions of activities in the areas that you might not otherwise have thought of.
