Cervinia opens the season in the Aosta Valley

The highest ski resort in the Aosta Valley, Breuil-Cervinia will kick off the winter season from next weekend, the 18th – 19th October. The resort will open for that weekend and then the following weekend prior to opening in full from 1st November to 3rd May 2015, making it the longest season in the valley. The resort is celebrating with opening weekend lift pass offers and more info can be found on the resort website.

    I will be hopefully traveling here towards Nov. 21st – 29th Will it be skiable during that time? And any suggestions which airport is easiest to fly into and how to get to the resort?

    Greetings from Rome! My friend and I will be in Turin this weekend. Is it possible to arrive to Cervinia by bus or train from Turin? How is the snow looking for Sunday?
