The Aosta Valley have recently launched a second route to their successful Trek Bus service to complement the Gran Paradiso Trek Bus service that was set up last summer. The Trek Bus service has been set up to provide hikers and trekkers with on call transport services to simplify travel between valleys. The Gran Paradiso Trek bus links the lower valley municipalities with those in the area of Gran Paradiso: Valle di Cogne, Valle di Rhêmes, Valsavarenche and Valgrisenche. The service is available from 21st June to 1st September and costs just €5 one way. The Matterhorn-Monte Rosa service is available in the areas of Valtournenche, Val d‘Ayas and Valle di Gressoney from 12th July to 14th September and costs from €15.
